itunes not recognising IPhone 6s/ipad

I have a laptop that is running windows 10. Since the latest iTunes update it does not recognise my iPhone 6s or my iPad. I've tried uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling but it's still not working. Any ideas.

I understand that, after updating iTunes, it's no longer recognizing your iOS devices despite having reinstalled iTunes. Fortunately we've a resource (linked below) that details a number of additional troubleshooting steps that can help get your devices and iTunes to communicate with each other properly once more.
